What do I do?
Getting up to shenanigans: I’m probably best known for blowing Peeps up in my microwave. (6.2M views and counting over on the #peepsjousting tag over on TikTok, if you can believe it!) My socials are full of shenanigans: things that I think are funny, that make me smile, or just serves to vent whatever happens to be going on on the day to day. As goofy and chaotic as that might make me out to be, I promise there’s some thought behind this ball of whimsy.
Deconstruction and Self-Exploration: I’ve been using this site to process throughout a deconstruction journey I’ve been on since 2020, after spending six years in a local megachurch. I’ve been learning a lot about myself along the way, exploring the things that motivate me and make me who I am. I don’t claim to know anything about anything, nor do I have the authority to tell anyone what to do or what to believe. What I’ve posted is in hopes that my perspective may resonate with others who have been on similar journeys. Consider this blog a charcuterie board of thought: snack on what sounds good to you, pass on the things that aren’t your jam.
Advocacy & Community Building: I’ve always been the helper friend. If you have a problem I can help solve, I’m always down to help find resources. I’ve built lists of LGBTQ+ organizations and crisis resources in hopes that they can help others get their footing.
Ultimately, I believe that everyone is worthy of peace, love, respect, and happiness. If you can rock with that idea, you can rock with me. Thanks for checking my stuff out. I hope you have a day that’s as awesome as I think you are!
