1 We’ve been doing a lot of hermeneutic analysis in the home church my buddy invited us to, which has thrown me back to my internship days in a lot of ways. Probably a better discussion for the main blog.
2 The program was supposed to be accredited, and I had been promised a degree in theology, but only received the certificate equivalent of a participation trophy. Again, things I could write A Whole Series of Posts About.

4 Surprisingly, a good chunk of these books helped to kick-start my deconstructive journey, by showing me the constant grind of life within the megachurch setting, along with the messages being taught there, were not only harmful to me as a person, but to the community at large.

6 I’ve talked about this some on Lavender Mafia, as well as a yet-to-be-released episode of Refuge Radio, but I still gotta write about it here.
7 No one ever asked me about it, though I don’t know if they just weren’t paying attention, or didn’t want me to go honey badger on them. Whenever it came up in class, I was always playing “devil’s advocate,” because I’m loudly opinionated about… y’know… having rights.

9 What can I say, I take the mandate of “Love Your Neighbor” very seriously.
